Ensign Nationals Report

Ensign Region I - Haarstick 1,2,3

Last weekend the Ensign Region I Championship was held in Barnegat Bay NJ. After a mean front came through on Friday, with winds up to 70 mph, the winds calmed down to 8-15 for the next two days for the event. Ensign Fleet 63 hosted the event with Toms River YC as the host club. There were 5 races during the weekend.

Ensign Region V Championship - 1st

Nick Lubar of Cleveland took first place at this years Ensign Region V Championship. This years Championship was held in conjunction with Cleveland Race Week. There were 8 Ensigns this year and Nick ended up with a 1-3-4-2-6-1-2-1. Nice sailing Nick.

Beneteau 40.7 Clean Up

Our Haarstick Powered Beneteau 40.7s cleaned up at this years Levels and LYRA regattas on Lake Ontario. At Levels, Kris and Kiki Werner on "Mullet" took 1st place and at the annual LYRA regatta, this year hosted by Royal Canadian Yacht CLub, Harry Voss on Silver Bullet took 1st Place.
